The BYK 1000 is an emulsion-mixing device developed for industrial applications. It is used to achieve the desired concentration of the soluble oil-water mixture. Its main body, constructed from robust materials, ensures durability and provides a stable operating platform. The device mounts onto the drum via an integrated lid and connects to the mains water supply using a hose. An adjustment valve on the unit allows for the regulation of emulsion concentration. Thanks to its built-in pressure gauge, the device remains unaffected by fluctuations in mains water pressure, ensuring a consistent emulsion output ratio. Installation involves securing the unit to the soluble oil drum; the included pipe is wrapped with Teflon tape and attached beneath the lid. The pipe is submerged into the drum, and the connection is finalized by tightening the lid screw. When connecting the water inlet and mixture outlet hoses, care must be taken to ensure they do not exceed 150 cm in length. To set the concentration, the adjustment valve is gradually opened, and measurements are taken using a refractometer until the desired level is reached, taking into account the multiplier value specified on the drum.
