SDP Series Elbow Joint Single Station Cold Forging Press

The SDP series is a toggle-type cold forging press built on Japanese technology under the supervision of Taiwanese engineers. Capacity 2500–30000 kN with 120–250 mm stroke. The combination box-type copper-welded body is stress relieved by heat treatment and surface sandblasting; the crankshaft runs horizontally across the body and is forged from high-quality alloy. The slide runs on ultra-wide eight-sided fixed guides. The elbow structure produces a unique slider curve that becomes very slow near bottom dead centre, making it suitable for heavy operations such as embossing, coining, sizing and extrusion forming.
