Fine Grinding

Peculiar Applications of the fine grinding are: - hydraulic pump components (rotors, stators, distributors, covers, palettes) - automotive (injectors, piston rings, fuel & diesel pumps components, valve plates) - bearings (see also type “RTB”) - technical ceramics - hard metal inserts, sawing blades, knives etc. Electronic-Logical Control The dimensions of the wheels are from a minimum diameter of 400mm to a max diameter of 2500mm. “Electronic-Logical Control”. The pressure, in fact, is applied electro-mechanically, through the movements of a ball screw controlled at close loop by a high precision load cell (± 1 DaN). This system, exclusive Melchiorre, allows to have quick and continous regulations of the working pressure and, consequently, a perfect repeatability of the loads. The traditional “C-frame” configuration let the upper wheel have just a vertical movement and, consequently, to get a higher working stability. The oscillation of the upper wheel is automatically adjustable, optimizing the surface of contact wheels- parts under process. THICKNESS VARIATION: ± 1 micron FLATNESS: < 0.5 micron PARALLELISM: < 1 micron SURFACE FINISH Ra up to 0,01 micron According to the final workpiece’s configuration/shape. Note: Melchiorre, as process liable, is able to supply the most suitable tools turn-key, for example wheels, dressing rings etc.
