MMO is a professional organization with the status of a public institution, established in 1954 in accordance with Article 135 of the Constitution and Law No. 6235 on the Union of Chambers of Turkish Engineers and Architects (TMMOB). Since 1954, our Chamber has reached a widespread organizational level across the country with 18 Branches, 56 Provincial Representatives, 41 District Representatives, 11 Professional Control Offices, an Accredited Inspection Body (AKM), an Accredited Personnel Certification Body (PBK), an Accredited Calibration Laboratory (KALMEM), the Welding Education and Inspection Center (KEMM) Training Center, the Makine Hangar Engineering and Technology Center, and 3 Applied Training Centers (UEM).
