HİCO Machinery and Engineering was founded in 1947 by Halil İbrahim Canat, a pioneer of the Konya industry. Initially serving farmers with agricultural machinery, our founder also acted as an industrial academy, training countless craftsmen. His visionary leadership introduced several firsts to the region, including Konya’s first steel casting factory and oxygen production plant. In 1972, the company institutionalized under the brand HİCO—derived from “Halil İbrahim Canat Oğulları.” By manufacturing Konya’s first eccentric press, we made a significant impact on the Turkish industrial landscape. Today, led by the third generation, HİCO is a globally recognized brand built on decades of expertise, high production standards, and professional ethics.
